Bright and early this morn, Jesse, Josie, Macie, Emma (Macie's best friend), and I loaded up Jesse's bike, his gear,a cooler, and hit the highway. MOAB HERE WE COME!
Jesse took 20th place out of a little over 100 kids. He rode amazingly well, but felt like he didn't do his very best. Moab was HOT, HOT, HOT, and this was a tough race for the kids! His goal for next year is to take 1st place, and I believe with all of my heart that he can do it! We all believe in you Jesse Howick and love you very very much!

Jesse's race was at 9:20 am, but we stayed late to watch Nathan race. His family was unable to make the drive and well, friends support friends. Nathan rode 2 laps and this picture explains it all. HE WAS BEAT! We pulled back into Manti just before midnight, and it is always so nice to be home!
