This gorgeous young lady turned 16 last week (December 13th) and will officially be driving tomorrow. If you happen to see her on the road, kindly change lanes and create space.... a lot of space! 🤪 Just kidding, I have all the faith in her and her abilities to do anything and everything she sets her heart and mind to. She is an exceptional daughter and friend and has grown leaps and bounds this year. Its been fun to watch her grow, and I don’t just mean taller. It makes my heart swell as I see her push herself to do hard things, and succeed. She is just finishing up her first college class, she has never let her grades dip below a 4.0, she is the president of her church class and loves it, she is learning to let the things that don’t matter go, and cling to the things that do. She loves her Heavenly Father and savior Jesus Christ and is an example to so many! I admire this young lady and am so blessed to be her mom and have the opportunity to love her like I do. I can’t wait to see where she goes in life, because I just know it will be amazing! She is amazing! Happy Birthday Macie Ann!
A little bit of Dahlberg, with a little bit of Howick, and a whole lot of love, make us a family!
Forgotten Carols
When Ryan was in high school, he had the privilege of performing in the Forgotten Carols. He introduced our family to it and we instantly fell in love with the story and the feeling of Christmas that it brings. This is the second year that Ryan's parents have given us this gift and we are so grateful! Thank you Dan and Leslie Dahlberg! What a great family tradition!
Temple Square Excitement
The young men and young women had a super fun combined activity to Salt Lake City on December 15th. I was lucky enough to be able to join, now that I am in the Young Women's program (secretary). It was a blast to spend time with all 3 of the kids and get to know their friends better. We went to the City Creek Mall for lunch, then walked to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and watched "Mr. Kruegar's Christmas and "The Nativity". Then off to the LDS Museum of Church History. It was amazing and we need to go back and spend A lot more time! We had free time to wander the mall for a while and then finished the night walking the temple grounds looking at lights and hamburgers from Crown Burgers! It was a fantastic day!
