Family Pics

October 13, 2018

It's been quite a while since we have done official family pictures.  In fact, we haven't since our wedding in October 2015.  One, life has been so busy, and two, Zane now lives with his dad and our relationship is still an unhealthy one.  It didn't feel right to take family pics without our entire family.  I realize that things take time to heal and that I don't have control over all things.  Moving forward without Zane has been difficult, but never the less, we put one foot in front of the other and do the best we can.  We miss him, and have faith that in God's timing, hearts will be softened and relationships will be mended.

Our sweet friend Dawnette Thompson took us up Manti Canyon on October 13, 2018 and took these remarkable pics of our sweet family.  She captured our personalities perfectly and we had a blast making these memories with her.  I am so grateful for the kindness of others, and I am so grateful for these incredible people I get to call family!

One month prior, Ryan was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 metastatic melanoma.  We as a family have decided to have faith over fear, and is the reason for our matching faith over fear shirts.  We love the way they turned out.
